I was looking for something else in Sargodha when I came across an old traditional-style building. This red, vintage structure immediately caught my attention, and on closer inspection, to my utter surprise, it turned out to be a gurdwara. For many years, I had passed close to this place and, despite catching a glimpse once or twice, had never paid any attention. It was the plaques written in Gurmukhi around the main entrance that revealed its identity.
This gurdwara is located in Block No. 10 of Sargodha city, hence it was named as Gurdwara Block 10, as the plaques inform us. The gurdwara is located at: 32° 5'14.12"N, 72°39'41.75"E. Currently, it houses a government office.

It was a Sunday, and the office was closed, so we could not enter. However, I assigned my nephew, Azeem Sultan, the task of taking photographs from inside. Within a couple of days, he managed to capture the following photos with some effort. These photographs show the building from inside and some newly constructed rooms as well.
As I mentioned earlier, fifteen plaques are fixed at the main entrance. That sheds light on the history of the construction of the gurdwara.

The first plaque is dated 30 April 1927, referring to the service for the construction of the gate. This suggests that the construction work began in 1927. The last plaque is dated 22 October 1931, indicating that by this time the project had reached completion. Therefore, we can safely assume that the construction started in early 1927 and was largely completed by late 1931.
The building is currently being used by the Evacuee Trust Property Board, and therefore remains in reasonably good condition. However, I have no information about the condition of its interior rooms. Maybe some other time I shall be able to provide more information.
